El Jaleo Teatro reimagines the biblical myth in "Caín y Abel", a frantic and deeply human comedy about guilt, jealousy, brotherly love and the need to feel good enough. It is written by Pedro Durán, Hugo Manso and Xana del Mar, who also directs, with the voice of Marisa Vallejo.
It is staged on Wednesday 21 October at 8 pm at the Teatro Palacio Valdés in Avilés, part of EscenAvilés' Hecho en Asturias series. Tickets cost 12 euros; at the theatre itself they are only sold on the afternoon of each performance.
