On Friday, 7 August, Poniente beach becomes the big night-time stage of Gijón's Semana Grande with a concert by Echo & the Bunnymen, the Liverpool band that has shaped alternative rock and post-punk since 1978 with atmospheric guitars and poetic lyrics.
