📍 Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto · View on map

The courtyard of the Centro de Cultura Antiguo Instituto hosts a new concert by the Coral Asturiana de Gijón as part of its 2026 Galas Corales series. Currently made up of thirty mixed voices across four sections, the choir performs a varied repertoire blending national folk songs and Asturian music, with a special section devoted to zarzuela. There are two performances, on Friday 23 October at 19:30 and Saturday 24 at 19:00, both with free entry until the venue reaches capacity. A simple plan to enjoy Asturian choral tradition outdoors.
