Colectivo lamiel & carlos galán: “origen” (CIMCO)

"Origen" is Colectivo Lamiel and Carlos Galán's contribution this year to Oviedo's Interdisciplinary Chamber Music Cycle (CIMCO). The piece blends music, dance and fashion to get us thinking about our past and where it is taking us, without telling a fixed story or handing us an answer.

Its throughline is the duality between tradition and modernity: are they contradictory notions, or do they depend on one another? Among the pieces performed is the Siete preludios asturianos for piano, in dialogue with the choreography and the costumes designed for the occasion.

The performance is on Thursday 24 September at 7:30 PM, in the Chamber Hall of the Auditorio Príncipe Felipe. Tickets cost €10 and are sold at entradas.oviedo.es and at the Campoamor and Auditorio box offices on the day of the show.
