Campeonato internacional de pesca. 2rivers cup 2026

The Río Caudal, in Mieres' catch-and-release sport fishing reserve, hosts the first day of the 2Rivers Cup International Fishing Championship on Saturday 26 September, organised by Mieres Council's Sports Department. The competition is part of the town's sporting calendar and brings anglers together on one of Asturias' prime trout-fishing stretches.

Entry is free and the championship continues the following day, Sunday 27 September, with its second round. A good excuse to head down to the Caudal in Mieres and watch this catch-and-release fishing format, geared towards conservation.
