Paseo de Begoña welcomes Tesela on 22 August at 1pm, as part of Gijón's free open-air concert programme Arte en la Calle. Tesela is an Asturian band formed in Gijón in 2024 by three 19-year-olds: Jorge on vocals and guitar, Javi on bass and Sam on drums. Their first gig was barely a month earlier, on 17 July, and they're already starting to play beyond Asturias with an original Spanish-language repertoire, no covers, mixing rock, pop rock and funk with lyrics full of personal experience. It's a free concert, a great chance to discover one of the youngest bands on the Asturian scene, right in the centre of Gijón, no ticket needed.
