On Friday 7 August at 8 pm, Paseo de Begoña hosts a concert by María Casals, a pop singer-songwriter trained in the UK who returned to Spain to build her career as a performer. Casals sings in the Laraland choir, curates the Novedades Emergentes playlist and combines her own project with postgraduate studies in the music industry in Madrid. This free gig is part of the Arte en la Calle series that fills Gijón's summer streets with live music.
