KFK Organ Trio rounds off August's run of concerts at Paseo de Begoña in style, part of Divertia's free Arte en la Calle series. The trio is made up of drummer Rubén Kitusonga, Asturian guitarist Luis Fuente and Indonesian organist Adra Karim, based in northern Spain since late 2023, and their sound draws on deep funk and contemporary acid jazz, with nods to hard bop, afrobeat and soul jazz. The band recently released their debut single, "Jakarta-Kandas", recorded at Estudios Lujosa in Gijón, featuring covers of genre classics. A free show at 8pm on 30 August for anyone who loves groove and live outdoor music.
