El Coto civic centre hosts Ún de Grao Trío, the second phase of José Martínez Álvarez's (Grao, 1978) solo project, rooted in Asturian tonada folk song and reworked with keyboardist César Latorre and double bassist Horacio García, two landmark figures of Gijón's jazz scene. Rock and roll, jazz and rhythm & blues cross paths with traditional melismas without losing the purity of the roots, also drawing on swing, soul and bossa nova. Free entry until the venue is full.
