Ana Torroja, the unmistakable voice of Spanish pop legends Mecano, performs on the Poniente esplanade in Gijón on Thursday 13 August 2026 at 11:00 pm. One of the big dates of Gijón's summer, right in the heart of August and just steps from the sea.

Few voices in Spanish pop are as instantly recognisable as hers. Live, Torroja revisits her solo career and the classics she made famous with Mecano, a repertoire that several generations know by heart. If you're in Gijón those days, this is one concert worth planning around.
