Alberto burguez trio
📍 Casino de Llanes · View on map
Uruguayan pianist Alberto Burguez brings his trio to Casino de Llanes for a set of blues, swing and boogie-woogie as part of Llanes in Blue, the Afro-American music series the venue hosts every September. Seasoned in the Buenos Aires blues scene and now based in Barcelona, Burguez delivers a live show rooted in 1950s New Orleans sound, built around his piano.
Drawing on influences such as James Booker, Otis Spann and Ray Charles, the trio promises a dynamic, close-up concert, with the rhythm section giving body to a repertoire that revives the golden age of American blues clubs.
