Galician musician Abraham Cupeiro presents «Loira» at the Teatro de la Laboral in Gijón on Saturday 2 January 2027 at 5:30 pm. Known for rescuing instruments from other eras and cultures — from the Celtic carnyx onwards — Cupeiro builds shows where the music doubles as time travel. «Loira» is his most diverse and eclectic record, a title he says took him a long while to land on. With an early-evening start that suits all ages, it's a different way to open the year with music on the monumental Laboral stage.
