As part of the Sociedad Filarmónica season, the Teatro Jovellanos hosts A cuatro manos, a concert by the Geister Duo, formed by David Salmon and Manuel Vieillard, two pianists who have turned complicity into their trademark. The duo, winners of the First Prize and five special mentions at the prestigious 2021 ARD Competition in Munich, will perform a programme spanning Mozart's Sonata K. 521, Schubert's Fantasy D. 940 and the Allegro D. 947 'Lebensstürme', plus a selection of Brahms' Hungarian Dances. The pair arrive in Gijón while working on a recording of Schubert's complete works for piano four hands, one of the most ambitious recording projects of their career.
